What is the Pixel RF?
It is a new fractional (partial) skin regeneration treatment based on radio frequency technology.
How does the Pixel RF work?
Its action is based on tissue sublimation by heat transfer through the radio frequencies and the removal of surface layers of the skin.
The advantage of the Pixel RF treatment is the production of thousands of tiny superficial thermal regeneration columns, through which the epidermic cells are eliminated from the skin.
In this way the skin which is around the pixel thermal zones, remains intact and helps in the rapid healing of the area.
Instead of handling the entire area at once, the skin heals more quickly because the therapy uses the natural healing process to create new, healthy tissue, which will replace skin imperfections such as wrinkles, melasma, discoloration, actinic keratosis, chromatic aberrations, acne scars and surgical scars.
In which cases is the Pixel RF treatment appropriate?
In all cases that require regeneration of the skin, such as
• Wrinkles
• Acne scars or surgical ones
• Stretch Marks
What are the differences between the Pixel RF laser with the Fraxel laser?
The fraxel laser is the original fractional laser of the Ebrium category.
This is the original fractional laser therapy and it is the Golden Standard of the industry in skin restoration and regeneration.
The Fraxel acts at big depths and the healing is done from the inside-out in opposite to the Pixel RF which acts at the surface and heals from the outside-inwards.
Can we combine these two laser therapies?
When combining both lasers, the desired effect is coming along much faster, given the fact that the area is healed from the inside-out and vice versa.
How long does the Pixel RF session last?
The session lasts about twenty minutes.
Topical application of anesthetic cream is performed, for an easy and painless process.
How will my skin look like immediately after the session and in the following days?
Immediately after the session there will be redness and burning sensation in the area.
The redness and the mild swelling will last about two days.
Avoiding the sun is essential and the use of a sunscreen lotion is required.
Treatment results are visible in the next few days giving a more radiant and youthful looking skin even as the time passes, as the healing process smooths the scars, wrinkles and stretch marks.
